45 Madison is a wonderful and unique place. Admins are great for timely updates and information. The grounds are kept clean and tidy, and the maintenance and cleaning staff work very hard to make this luxury apartment complex a truly beautiful place to live. In short, 45 Madison shows great teamwork and everyone treats residents with dignity and respect. Overall, I enjoyed living there. I feel safe and the amenities are nice. My biggest problem is being able to hear everyone in the hallways. I always know when my neighbors come home because the doors close and they are loud. I work nights and sleep during the day so it’s a problem.

45 Madison is a quiet and clean community. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The pool, hot tub and gym are smaller but have good amenities. The patio is great for hanging out!

Everything works well within the units and communication with residents is frequent. However, there have been a lot of concerns that I have dealt with over the past 12 months and I do not plan to renew. Security is a big concern here… I’ve had my car broken into once in the surface parking lot without staff help because there are no security cameras. The door to the south building has been broken for the last 4 months so that anyone can enter. The parking garage doors were left open for two weeks at a time while they were being fixed (twice in total in 12 months) – This gave everyone access to the building from the street to the garage.. .I always make sure to lock the door because of these things. Even though they have a concierge package/automated boxes that you pay for, my packages are constantly left in the aisle open to the public by Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc. Again, no security cameras. Don’t expect to use the hot tub during your stay here. The heater does not work even when fixed. The pool and gym were closed most of this year due to COVID (understandable) but when they are open the pool is quite small and the Peleton has never worked properly. If you work from home or don’t go out in the evening, this is not your property. Constant construction makes it impossible to work from home. If you plan to stay home on weekend nights, it gets quite noisy, but that was reduced a bit with COVID. Regarding the elevators: I live on the first floor and I don’t have a disability so this wasn’t a big issue for me, but I will say that the elevators don’t work very often… Keep that in mind if you are looking at units on the 3rd or 4th floor. The last thing that has been annoying… My car has so many garage door slams and it’s not my neighbors fault – the spots are small. I drive a small sedan so I can’t imagine what residents deal with with bigger cars or luxury cars. That said, the public areas are always kept clean and maintenance is pretty quick when they actually respond to your requests. I would ask for some references if you plan to sign a lease here; it’s just not worth the high cost if you’re not happy. There are many newer and cheaper options outside the square.

All the staff are very helpful and always willing to lend a helping hand. All maintenance requests are done in a timely manner and the site looks amazing.
