There are many reasons to visit Las Vegas, Nevada – widespread wheelchair accessibility, beautiful hotels, award-winning shows and world-class cuisine all come to mind. In this article, I want to focus on this last issue: food. Visitors to Las Vegas can choose from hundreds of restaurants, sampling cuisine from world-renowned chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Thomas Keller and Wolfgang Puck. While this list is in no particular order, I have and will always have my favorite Las Vegas restaurant, and I’ve put it at the top of this list. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen is a restaurant that visitors to Las Vegas look forward to. Conveniently located in Caesar’s Palace, it’s a great choice for lunch or dinner, and the ability to order from a special menu helps budget-conscious travelers plan accordingly.

Where To Eat In Las Vegas

Gordon’s signature Beef Wellington is offered on the prix fixe menu, which can be ordered for $65.95 for lunch or $75.95/$85.95 for dinner. Although I love the Beef Wellington, I ordered from the main menu on my last visit. The dry-aged New York strip with glazed maitake mushrooms was delicious, and I paired the steak with two sides: baked macaroni and cheese and perfect mashed potatoes.

I’m a creature of habit and usually order Wolfgang Puck’s Jidori Chicken or Smoked Salmon, but on my last visit I decided to try the daily special: Mesquite Grilled Prime Ribeye Steak.

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but WP’s Mesquite Grilled Steaks are definitely my new favorite. With lunch or dinner and a drink, diners should expect to spend between $45 and $100 per person at this restaurant. Sinatra (Encore at the Wynn Las Vegas)

Encore at Wynn Las Vegas invites you to “pay tribute to Frank [Sinatra] with sophisticated riffs on classic Italian cuisine” at Sinatra Restaurant.

Best Restaurants Inside Vegas Casinos

I love Italian food and Sinatra’s is one of the best places to find it in Las Vegas. Pair your meal with a delicious cocktail (I recommend the Danny Ocean, Hendrick’s Gin) or a glass of wine, and enjoy the rocking tunes and upscale ambiance. Food at Sinatra’s makes for a great start to the night or an entire night on its own. Old House (Caesar’s Palace)

Have you ever tried a $40 cheeseburger? You can get closer to OH Burger at Old Homestead inside Caesars Palace — $38.95 for a burger and fries.

The lighting in the restaurant is dark, and even with my iPhone 12 Pro, I couldn’t capture the glory of this burger. OH Burger is hands down the best burger in Las Vegas, and you have to trust me. It’s in town with French fries, onion rings, bacon and more. There are fancy burgers out there, but none as good as this one.

It’s afternoon and you’ve woken up after a night on the Las Vegas strip. You’ve probably had a few too many to drink and are still drinking

It’s one of the best deals in Las Vegas, and it’s more than all-you-can-eat. Order one of the restaurant’s famous hashes and you’ll be served more than a pound of food in a steaming cast iron skillet.

What’s in that pan? Two eggs, crispy fries, meatloaf, roasted peppers, fresh spinach, mozzarella, biscuits and a few pieces of fresh fruit. All for just $16.99. I guarantee you won’t be hungry anymore. Bardot Brasserie (ARIA)

To be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of French cuisine. But I can always stand behind the steak frites, which Bardot Brasserie at ARIA Resort & Casino does really well. The restaurant is one of chef Michael Mina’s and it serves one of the best beef Wellington dishes on the strip – big enough to serve two people.

I’m told the restaurant also does good seafood, but I haven’t tried it myself. A friend recommended the seared sea bass, but I opted for the steak instead (and was glad I did!). Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen and Bar (LINQ)

One thing I didn’t know until recently: Guy Fieri doesn’t own this restaurant, but his name is on it. The restaurateur and Food Network star known for shows like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has ventured into licensing his name, and this is one such example. But don’t be deterred – it’s still a great choice!

There are several large burgers on the menu that require two hands to hold, and since I only have one hand, I order the baby back ribs.

Seven words you need to know: Boneless baby back ribs. That’s what you get at Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen. They’re delicious, smoky, St. Louis-style barbecue ribs. The $23.99 half rack includes mac and cheese, coleslaw, Texas toast and pickles. Enjoy! GIADA (Cromwell)

Top Of The World Restaurant

If you watch NBC’s TODAY show in the morning, you’re probably familiar with Emmy Award-winning celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis, who dishes on the show. His first restaurant, GIADA, opened at The Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas.

Recently, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders (just kidding!) joined me for a meal. I enjoyed the lobster ravioli and followed it up with two scoops of gelato. Other popular dishes at the restaurant include lemon spaghetti, chicken cacciator, rosemary focaccia and vegetable Bolognese rigatoni. Lakeside (Wynn Las Vegas)

You can have both at the same time at Wynn’s Lakeside Restaurant. Reserve a table outdoors and you’ll be in front of a waterfall that transforms into a movie screen and stage for animated displays, like a giant frog belting out Frank Sinatra’s hits. No two shows are the same and they run every 30 minutes from dusk.

Lakeside Hawaiian offers seafood that they say is caught by family fishermen on the islands and flown directly to Las Vegas. Whether the claims of freshness are true or not, my lakeside meals were fantastic, including the Mahi Mahi pictured above. If you’re a seafood lover, you can’t go wrong with a meal at Lakeside, and don’t forget to pair it with one of their specialty cocktails. Peppermill Restaurant

Of The Best Las Vegas Restaurants Off The Strip

Hash House A Go Go isn’t the only restaurant serving breakfast. Another favorite breakfast/brunch spot is Peppermill Restaurant on the north side of the strip between Encore and The STRAT.

Peppermill’s portion sizes are huge, with one dish often enough to satisfy two diners. I’m currently craving their French toast and Belgian waffles, so I recommend ordering them.

Although I like to dine at Peppermill in the wee hours, they are open late into the night, serving a great dinner and drink menu. In the evening, you can enjoy a “neon-lit lounge with romantic booths, fruity cocktails, elegant servers and a glowing reflection pool.” Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill (Caesar’s Palace)

Gordon Ramsay is very good, he has two restaurants in Caesar’s Palace. His Beef Wellington is excellent, served at both Hell’s Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay Pub and Grill.

Top Of The World

STRIPSTEAK is Chef Michael Mina’s second restaurant on this list and is located inside the Mandalay Bay and Delano Hotel/Casino Resort. This was the chef’s first steakhouse and it did not disappoint.

It might be an understatement to say that my favorite steakhouse dish is the seafood, specifically the Scottish salmon. It’s really delicious! Whatever your taste, the $75 menu offers salad or shrimp, followed by flat iron steak, chicken or Scottish salmon and a slice of cheesecake to wrap up. Primula (Park MGM)

Located in the smoke-free Park MGM Hotel, Primula is a great place for breakfast. It’s more affordable than some breakfast restaurants at MGM properties, and a traditional steak and egg dish with fries will only set you back $25.

If you love mimosas in the morning (who doesn’t?), you can order an all-you-can-drink mimosa package for just $35. If you play the free MyVEGAS Rewards game, you can redeem your points for a free mimosa ticket. Now you know one reason why this restaurant is on my list. 😜 Blue ribbon fried chicken
