I fell in love with the Tennessee area. It all started when we rented our first cabin 9 years ago. When we stay in our cabin, we find that we have a “sense of peace and comfort.” Whether you’re planning an exciting adventure trip, shopping at Tangers outlets, or just relaxing with a cup of tea in a rocking chair, we want to give our guests the same feeling. Hello future guests! We are the owners/managers of The Summit Cabin and we love sharing our second home with our guests! I am retired from banking and Morse is a rancher on our 3rd generation cattle ranch in Tennessee. We honeymooned in the Smokies 39 years ago and fell in love with the area! We now return many times throughout the year because we can’t get enough of this beautiful area! We have a son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren that we love spending time with at The Summit! The hosting was a joy! Every guest comes as a stranger and leaves as a friend. We have hosted multi-generational families who enjoy every minute of making memories at the cabin with their children/grandchildren. We purchased The Summit in October 2014 after finding a Gatlinburg cabin. It had everything we were looking for; Close to strip (3 miles), view, welcoming porch and great layout. We fell in love with this property from the moment we saw it. It had everything we were looking for; a huge rocking chair porch, great views and a perfect layout of the living area. It’s only 3 miles from the Gatlinburg strip, but you’ll feel “miles away” when you’re in the cabin. We loved the huge windows that opened up the views allowing natural sunlight to flood the cabin. Most of the cabins are dark, with few windows, and we were careful to avoid that feeling.

Summit style is unique. It’s an A-frame with a high ceiling that makes it feel huge. The L-shaped porch wows guests with rocking chairs and views of Mount LeConte. A large gas grill reads; no firewood is needed. Our guests love the layout of the cabin with 2 bedrooms and sitting areas on each floor. It has mountain decor and luxurious leather furniture.
