Millennium Station is also less than 5 minutes away. Bus routes 3, 4, 6, 26, 143, 850, 851, and 855 stop outside the park on N Michigan Avenue.

Best time to go: As this is one of the most popular places in Chicago, it gets incredibly busy during the day. Go as early in the morning as possible!
Located a short walk from Cloudgate in Millennium Park, Laurie Gardens has 5 acres of botanical flower and plant life.
The park was built with the intention of providing a sanctuary for Chicago residents and tourists as well as local wildlife.
With more than 350 varieties of flowers and elements such as a 4.8 meter (15 foot) high “shoulder” hedge, water features, and magical evening lighting, a wealth of photo opportunities await you.

Built in the early 1920s, the building is 134 meters (440 ft) tall and combines Spanish Colonial Revival and French Renaissance architectural influences.
The two towers are connected by an elevated walkway and the building is famous for its beautiful clock face.
How to get there: Several buses serve Michigan Avenue with stops outside the building, including routes 120 and 121. Located 10 minutes away, Grand (Red Line) is the closest subway station. You can also walk there from the Michigan Avenue Pier.
Best time to go: Anytime but early morning works best because of the light and less crowds.
Incredible Places To Go Kayaking In And Around Chicago
One of the few bridges that connect the Near North Side with downtown, the rust-colored DuSable Bridge offers some of the best Instagram spots in Chicago.
Carrying Michigan Avenue over the Chicago River, construction of the bridge lasted from 1918 to 1928. Officially a Chicago-style bascule bridge, the structure was raised to allow the passage of ships.
You can shoot from the end or right in the middle to take full advantage of Chicago’s mighty skyline.
How to get there: Buses such as the 120 and 121 routes serve Michigan Avenue with stops on both sides of the bridge. Grand (Red Line) is about 10 minutes to the north while State/Lake (also on the Red Line) is 10 minutes from the downtown area.

This magnificent theater was built in 1921 and opened to great acclaim as the wonder theater of the world. Seven stories high and 3,880 seats, it occupies about half a block.
The interiors are trimmed with red velvet seats and French-style murals and ornaments, while the facade attracts the attention of passengers with its bright neon sign.
Also one of Chicago’s best photography spots, the theater is still in operation so if you’re interested in seeing a show, be sure to grab some tickets.
How to get there: State/Lake and Lake subway stations (Red Line) are outside the theater. Buses 2, 29, 146, and 148 stop at the theater entrance.

Designed to meet the needs of urban explorers, the Chicago River Walk takes you on a 1.25 mile (2 km) walk along the Chicago River. this

Although technically this is another free Chicago photo spot, you might want to splurge on a kayak ride or grab some food during your photo shoot.
How to get there: Bus routes 4, 134, 135, and 136 stop along E Lower Wicker Drive. Lake (Red Line) is the nearest subway station or you can connect to Millennium Station by commuter train.

Located on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), Skydeck Chicago is one of the most Instagrammable spots in Chicago for epic panoramic shots.
The star attraction is The Ledge, an observation deck with a glass floor that protrudes 4.3 feet (1.3 meters) from the main skydeck.
At 1,353 feet (412 meters) above the city streets, it is the highest observation platform in the country, and on a clear day, it offers views across four states.
As you can imagine, this place is very popular and busy, so it is necessary to arrive early in the day.

Unfortunately, you are only allowed one minute to shoot at the edge but if you arrive early, you will be able to shoot a bit longer if there are not too many people.
How to get there: Skydeck Chicago is a 2-minute walk from Quincy (Brown, Orange, Pink and Purple lines). Bus route 121 stops outside on S Wacker Drive.
Best time to go: Come early at opening time (ideally on a weekday), otherwise it gets very crowded. Skydeck Chicago is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. (March through September) and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. , Friday and Saturday (October to February).

The centerpiece of the Buckingham Fountain Flower Gardens in Grant Park, this Rococo style feature was conceived in 1927.

How to get there: The Van Buren Street commuter rail station as well as the Jackson and Harrison subway stations (both on the Red Line) are each located a short walk from the Gardens. Dozens of bus routes serve S. Michigan Avenue and keep you within a quick walking distance.
