Whether you like the classic or the creative, there’s a great meal waiting to be eaten in the shadows of some of Vegas’ best attractions or near the stage of some of Vegas’ best shows. However, having dinner at the Strip’s best restaurants doesn’t come cheap. This is Las Vegas after all, so do your research and book a table at a place that strikes your heart more than your budget.

Fine dining comes to life in the ‘Mansion’, a fitting nickname for a (previous) century chef’s sumptuous 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, just steps from the MGM Grand Casino floor. This honor was awarded in 1989 by the renowned French culinary guide Gault & Millau. As you can imagine, dining in Joël Robuchon’s jewel-coloured room is a once-in-a-lifetime event. His 16-course parade of transcendental French cuisine takes him over three hours, lavishes with caviar, black truffles and foie gras, and leaves a slice of pizza on the way home without a second thought. You won’t find a more decadent dinner on the Las Vegas Strip.

Please don’t call it a steakhouse. According to superstar chef José Andrés, this Philippe Starck-designed restaurant at his SLS serves the earth’s bounty, including his A5 Kobe straight from Japan, Finnish caviar and browned chives. It’s a “butcher” dedicated to celebrating. chipotle sauce. The very carefully sourced ingredients, whose R&D team tested over 500 cuts of meat before opening, are the stars here, but the chef still enjoys showing them off. That means foie gras is served wrapped in cotton candy, while dishes like the classic steak tartare are served tableside and mixed with generous amounts of panache. Don’t skip the suckling pig imported from Spain and served quarterly. You’ve never eaten such juicy pork.

Highlights include a signature artichoke and black truffle soup with toasted mushroom brioche, and a black truffle menu that shows a liberal hand with the highly prized mushroom. If you’ve got some cash on hand, try the innovative 13-course menu or pony up to Chef Krug’s table for a 10-course feast in the kitchen.
The name says it all. Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich’s Italian-influenced steakhouse is his two: crazy good beef and crazy good wine. The wine list leans heavily on Italy, and the menu features handcrafted pastas and a variety of Kurds, all connected to authentic meats. The beef is sourced from American farmers and dry-aged off-site to the restaurant’s very high standards. Cuts such as bone-in ribeye and porterhouse can take up to 90 days, and a once-secret special steak called Riserva can take up to 240 days.
From the moment you step inside, Twist is breathtaking. View from the 23rd floor of the Mandarin Oriental, the lights of Las Vegas below. There is an airy dining room with glass orb chandeliers and sober décor. and modern French cuisine that seems to transport you into the inventive spirit of Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire. Predicting how the dishes will arrive is the losing game here. It’s best to let the kitchen take over, choosing impressive ingredients such as scampi and Colorado rack of lamb, or opting for one of the tasting menus. please do not worry. they know what they are doing.

This workshop-style dining room is located right next to Robuchon’s signature restaurant, with a few tables and counters where you can sit down and have some of the world’s best food (simpler and cheaper than elsewhere) prepared. You can see it being done. Push the boat out and head to his menu for seasonal Discovery Tastings. Well worth the $159 price tag.
When Milos opened in his Cosmopolitan in 2010, it brought something to the Strip that we didn’t even realize was missing: Greek seaside cuisine from the Mediterranean and Aegean. That’s what you’ll find in Milos. Thick octopus with just the right amount of char, grilled Portuguese sardines, fresh air-fed fish cooked whole in a salt crust, and finished with a drizzle of olive oil and perhaps a few capers. The $25.15 3-course lunch special is good value. Ordering “real Greek yogurt” for dessert ruins the grocery store stuff.
Wolfgang Puck, head of Spago, who revolutionized the dining experience of Las Vegas visitors, opened this classic steakhouse at the Palazzo in 2008. For one, that’s practically all you’ll find here. Meat, meat, and more great meat. If possible, choose 100% pure Japanese Wagyu beef. However, there are no bad options here. Just great steaks grilled over wood and charcoal and finished in a 1200 degree broiler. One of dozens of side dish options, toppers and sauces such as wasabi yuzu pepper butter and vibrant herbal chimichurri complete the meal.
Strips like Bouchon and Alex Chef Michael, a veteran of his kitchen Since his La Placa took over this Mirage his dining room, guests have been raving about his masterful interpretations of Italian classics . Portofino isn’t about reinventing the wheel, it’s about making the most delicious wheels you’ve ever tasted. I am often asked where to stay on my Las Vegas trip. We have stayed at several locations on the Strip including Palazzo, Venetian, Four Seasons, Mirage, MGM and Aria. They’re all great, but our go-to place in recent years is The Aria. The location is great and the rooms are very nice. There is also a nice casino. The Aria has many great restaurants and great shopping right next door at The Shoppes at Crystals. A short tram ride from Park MGM and Bellagio.
Catch has quickly become our favorite place in Las Vegas. I have eaten here 3 times and absolutely love it. We have reservations but decided to have dinner at the bar.
I ordered a small portion of chicken bao buns. Pickled cucumbers, icebergs and sweet chili glaze. I love bao buns and these were great. It wasn’t on the menu on our most recent trip, but we hope to be back soon!
