The only issue we had was the hot tub smelled really bad.. Other than that the cabin was perfect..

We were happy with the location and size (8 BR) but not happy with the furniture, kitchen/appliances/dishes. Half of the blinds didn’t work. I’ve stayed at several Aunt Bug properties and this was one of the most expensive – and it shouldn’t have been. Not even close to being as good as other properties that are better and cheaper appliances/furniture. Stove from the 60’s. Fridge from the 80’s. Limited glasses. No sharp knives. Outdated rooms.

Nice cabin in a decent location. Biggest complaint is that kitchen utensils were not even remotely stocked. For the cabin of that size it was not suitable.

Loved the deck – lots of chairs. We really needed a room of 9 because our cottage burned down and we had to make do with 8. Just a big salad bowl and a big frying pan for breakfast. We suggest a gripper pad under the mat in front of the sink because it slides so easily. Check the remotes. Many didn’t work.

This was a nice cabin with the 8 bedrooms we needed; however the whole cabin needs a thorough cleaning and the stove needs to be replaced as the burners cause problems and the broiler won’t work. Neighbors made quite a bit of noise on Saturday night, but it wasn’t their fault.

It was a great getaway after the 2 month pandemic. But this place needs some work. The folding closet door was off its hinges and resting against a bedroom wall. My husband actually put the door back on. The bathtub handle in one of the bathrooms doesn’t fit and falls off when you use it. Broken bricks were lying on the deck… light bulbs don’t work in all rooms… and when we got there you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It was probably cleaned before the pandemic and no one stopped by to check before we arrived. It was dusty and the toilets were disgusting! The water was even turned off in one of the bathrooms. There were chemicals in the hot tub on the float. It was empty. And they told us that we couldn’t get in earlier because the cabin wouldn’t be ready….??? I even called and asked when was the last time it was cleaned once we arrived. The person told me “it was recently…”

Our vacation was well spent. Everything about the cabin was good. I had no problems. I would recommend Aunt Bug cabins anytime.
