Restaurants For A Romantic Night Out In Nashville

There was a time when you could describe Arnold as a “hole in the wall”. not anymore. Arnold’s is branching off and doubling in size. Why? Because the food is awesome.

We had our first Nashville meal here and had a bit of practice waiting in line. By 11:30 a.m. Friday, the line was already on the road. After locals and tourists grabbed their plates and picked up meats and side dishes and desserts, they found a place for a table. This is southern cooking at it’s best… buttery mashed potatoes. grilled chicken; green beans Oh… delicious! At that point, I knew Tim and Nashville would be delicious.

Sadly, We only got one plate to split because we needed to save room for Biscuit Love a few blocks away. Today’s food tour had us visit two different restaurants for lunch.

The best biscuits in Nashville. Yes! At least the restaurants we sampled. Sausage Gravy We ate yum yum and biscuits, but the special thing was the bonuses.

This is another wonderful surprise. For a restaurant on Broadway in the hullabaloo of Honky Tonks, Tim and I weren’t expecting much from this place. But the food is very good. I heard about Loveless Cafe so often that I couldn’t pass it up. Tim and I were surprised to find one of Nashville’s most popular restaurants located so far from downtown. In fact, Loveless Cafe is a thirty minute drive from downtown Nashville.

We arrived during lunch time and were told we would have to wait an hour and forty five minutes for a table. Well!! Instead of waiting, order takeout, sit outside at one of the picnic tables, and get your food in as fast as 40 minutes.

Tim and I agreed that Loveless Cafe doesn’t live up to its hype. People love biscuits and fried chicken. They are good but nothing stellar. Wait a long time for food and drive thirty minutes out of town? I won’t do it again.

If you want to know all the fuss about Loveless, come and see for yourself. You may have a better experience. But if you’re on time, you don’t have to leave town to eat at Arnold’s Country Kitchen, which has even better food. You don’t even have to have a car.
