The eerie ruins at Sutro Baths are reminiscent of the past. They were founded by a former mayor of San Francisco as part of an entertainment complex, but unfortunately, shortly after the center closed in the 60s, the building mysteriously burned down. The Sutro Baths were famous for their tide-fed, saltwater pools. At that time, the millionaire was dedicated to providing cheap entertainment to the city dwellers. Today, the ruins sit on a rocky hill overlooking the beautiful Pacific coast.
