“Massage Envy franchises don’t require its spas to call the police or state board investigators or any other outside expert to determine what’s going on in these cases, and in the case of the West Chester massage therapist, within less than an hour,” he acknowledged to abuse not only Susan Ingram, but other women.

“I have the police report. He said: ‘I need help.’ It almost seemed like he was just waiting for someone to notice that he was serially assaulting women. “Although the Massage Envy franchise says it is an industry leader in sexual assault policies, it also claims in court filings that as a franchise that sells franchise agreements rather than hiring individual massage therapists, it should not be liable in sexual assault lawsuits abuse of clients. , and often their cases are decided under strict confidentiality clauses, so it’s hard to know exactly what’s going on.
